What is a Blog?
A Blog (also known as a web log) is an online diary. It is a forum to share ideas. It is a place where you can post your photos for friends and family. It is your voice, your identity on the web for a daily pulpit, political soapbox, collection of links, your own private thoughts or a memo to the world.

Your Blog is whatever you want it to be. There are millions of them, in all shapes and sizes, and there are no real rules.

In simple terms, a Blog is a web site, where you write stuff on an ongoing basis. New stuff shows up at the top, so your visitors can read what's new. Then they comment on it or link to it or email you.

What can I publish in my Blog?
Your Blog is your identify on the web, so you are free to publish any content or pictures - as long as they comply with the OneBlog Terms and Conditions and Acceptable Use Policy . You must ensure that you are authorised to reproduce and use any material posted by you. In particular, the Acceptable Use Policy prohibits you from using this service in any way that may infringe any person's rights, such as intellectual property rights or moral rights.

What if I exceed my allocated 10MB worth of storage?
Once your threshold is reached you will be notified and have the option to purchase additional space.

Are there any specific technology requirements?
No, there are no additional requirements.

OneBlog is a browser based application, best suited for Internet Explorer 5.5 and above and Firefox. It is compatible with PC and Macs.

What if my page formatting doesn't seem right?
There are problems with the web browser which occasionally cause your page to lose its formatting. This happens when the web browser can not fit the post into the width available, and it breaks the formatting trying to do so. The most common cause of this is posts which have had content pasted into them from another source e.g. another web page or a word document.

To fix the problem find the post that is breaking the formatting. This is typically the one which is wider than the rest. Look at the post and note the text that is not wrapping properly onto the next line. Edit your post and either insert a new line manually, or insert a space. Save your post and keep doing this until your problem is resolved.

Why do some of my posts disappear from front of the Blog?
If your posts are no longer visible on the front page of your Blog, this will include any photo galleries you have, means that they have been archived. The way OneBlog works is the last 5 posts will be visible from the front of your Blog (This will include the last 5 posts and last 5 Photo albums, etc..), however once the posts exceed 5, post number 6 will automatically be shown by the calendar feature.

If you want to view archived posts, you can click the side arrows in the calendar on the month and it will display all the posts on the month you have selected.
